Keep Your Hummingbird Feeders Fresh

Hummingbird activity really picks up in July with the young fledglings coming to feeders and southern migration beginning as hummingbirds begin to stage along the Gulf Coast states to head south.  Keep your feeders clean and filled with fresh nectar.  We suggest that you mix your own nectar using:

               4 parts water

                1 part sugar

        NO RED FOOD COLORING NECESSARY!

Hummingbird southern migration lasts through October with the peak being the around the 2nd weekend in September.
